Aylin Kaptan
Founder / Consultant / Trainer
Aylin Kaptan is a project management consultant, architect, and trainer specializing in delivering sustainable projects, transforming sustainability strategies into measurable project outcomes.
Kaptan, a graduate of Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Architecture, also holds master's and MBA degrees. He has over 28 years of experience in the construction and real estate sector, and over 19 years in project management.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in the development and management of numerous large-scale investments in Turkey, Turkmenistan, Russia, and Azerbaijan, including high-rise residential buildings, mixed-use projects, shopping malls, hotels, office projects, and industrial facilities. He has held middle and senior management positions in national and international organizations such as ENKA, SOYAK, HILL International, and FIBA, and has led projects throughout all phases of the lifecycle.
Today, her work focuses on helping organizations integrate sustainability goals into their project delivery processes. Through PY Academy, which she founded, she offers consulting, management workshops, and competency development programs to organizations in the areas of sustainable project delivery, project governance, PMO development, ESG integration, sustainable procurement, and leadership development.
Aylin Kaptan believes that sustainability should be implemented not only in strategies, policies, or reports, but also in projects, programs, and daily decision-making processes. This approach forms the basis of all her training, consulting, and speaking engagements.
She participates as a speaker at international conferences and collaborates with institutions, professional organizations, and professional communities on topics such as sustainable project delivery, project governance, integration of ESG into projects, and value-oriented project leadership.
